Retiring and downsizing so this has to go ....it's a beauty!
Dining Room Set manufactured by the Anthes-Baetz Furniture Company in Kitchener ON ca 1920(dated according to company name changes). There is a clear company label inside the china cabinet drawer and quite badly faded store labels on the back of the buffet and under the table.
Heavy, solid construction with gorgeous inlays ..... table has two built-in leaves and seats 12 when fully open. Buffet has one linen drawer the width of the piece, two center drawers, one with a felt-lined cutlery insert, and two side cupboards.China cabinet has original glass and wood fretwork, with one storage drawer. Chairs have leather seats. The asking price is less than it is worth, for two reasons: the china cabinet has a badly repaired but small chip in the upper trim which would have to be repaired by a professional and all the chairs need tightening - they are loose but undamaged. The entire set shows normal wear for its age.
